Consulting IT support of Process Simulation in Shell Companies both onsite and telephonically nationwide.  Created Aspen, Provision, and OLI models from process flow diagrams.

 

·               Created an ionic model of the effluent water treatment for removal of cyanide using sulfolane. Studied different injection rates and conditions to meet environmental regulations.

 

·           Regressed data to NRTL equation to support modeling of olefin processing

 

·               Wrote model for production of n-butyl alcohol with bubble flow reactors, which allowed understanding of how different conditions affected production rates, especially the reactor volumes.

 

 

·          Created Aspen reactor model Fortran code examples for a class of the three types of Aspen reactor

      models.

 

·               Implemented standard PC desktop infrastructure for a technical department.  Understanding of both the client and the IT processes produced an effective efficient conversion.

 

 

·               Ported batch submission process for Aspen Plus and Provision from mainframe to PC.  Provided easy access to the processing power of a Unix workstation from engineer’s PC.
